Imaged Jove last night in variable seeing,at least it was a comfortable temperature 18 C,Last week we had several days around 40 C with a high of 43 C.

Strangely my best RGB & 742nm IR data was my first set for the the night with Jove at only 30 degrees alt.
Have attached 3 RGB & 3 742nm IR data sets. There are at least 4 small white ovals resolved in the STB.
There is a very interesting structure immediately following the GRS that prescribes a nice S-bend.
The EZ,along the border of the NEB is quite chaotic, particularly in my best IR data from 12:31

Ian Sharp (280mm SC)

Some more decent seeing and clear, frosty conditions last night. Here are 3 images showing the GRS.

Here are two images taken on 5th December.
Reasonable detail visible at times, but Jupiter jumping around constantly in the screen.

David Arditti (356mm SC)
Seeing was rather variable this night with some videos excellent, some no good at all.

Selecting the best, the colour images are made from an RGBRGBR run (before midnight),and an RGBRGBRGB run after.

In a separate file, two particularly good reds from single (non-derotated) 1 minute videos, and in another file, the IR image, are given.

(All my images are taken without any dispersion correction.)

I note the tiny red barge in the NTB(N),f the CM at 23:08 and p at 00:10. The EqZ can be rather beautiful.
