Paul G. Abel(203mm reflector)
Seeing was good at times and I was afforded some excellent views of the small, but perfectly formed Martian disk. Points of note where as follows:
Drawing 1 (CM: 278.3): Syrtis Major now well on the disk, and at both x250 and x312 there are clearly variations in intensity and structure within. Mare Hadriacum could be seen,so to could Iapigia which seemed to be rather dark. I was also able to make out the brighter Ausonia and the dark brownish coloured Mare Tyrrenhum. Aeria and Arabia bright regions, and there was a brilliant white cloud over Elysium which was on the proc. limb.
Also a lot of detail in the north- Nodus Alcyonius seen and there seemed to be a dark region within Dioscuria- Ismenius L? The NPC is now much smaller than at the start of the apparition, and a brilliant white colour- variation in intensity present here too? The Lowell band was very dark, but by no means uniform and had a rather fragmentary appearance at times.
Drawing 2: ((CM: 312.3): Syrtis Major now near to the proc. limb, and the great Sinus Sabeuas feature is jnow coming into view. Sinus Sabeus seems to be rather dark, perhaps more so than I remember it before. The deserts of Moab,Eden and Cydonia were bright, and Acidalium in now starting to appear properly on the fol. limb. Bright clouds still on the evening limb?
Drawing 3: (339.6): Syrtis Major nearly off the disk now,and Sinus Sabeus well placed. I am able to see the dark Dawes Bay but I am not sure if I can split it into its two 'prongs' as seeing is dropping off now. Acidalium and Erythraeum are now visible on the fol. limb, and it seems that there is a bright cloud over Chryse. NPC interesting,I have the idea that the white colouring protrudes irregularly into the Lowell Band.
Clouds started coming in and by 0146UT,they were total. Pity as I planned to move onto Saturn shortly. Clearly Spode saw my dome was open and decided to act at once.

Freddy Willems(356mm SC)
lots of thin high clouds
that trew off my imaging session from that night, processed the sets a few
times and this is the best I can come up with.
Some nice detail is visible, also because of those clouds it was hard to
adjust the histogram setting so some channels sere over-exposed for that
matter.

Damian Peach (356mm Celestron SCT)
A brief clear spell with fair seeing. Blue Syrtis cloud is prominent.
