解説(安達)
2012年3月23日
James Willinghanが今日もTerminator Prjectionを記録した。位置から見ると、火

James Willinghan recorded Terminator Prjection today. Seeing from a position,
the point of the head becomes the form showing from the Martian backside.
Because an image green than a blue image comes out clearly,it is very likely to
be a dust whirled up in the sky.

Great seeing last night.
Is that Olympus Mons poking through the clouds on the limb?

Under bad seeing, only IR image got out ok

I tried last night at times giving the same looking Mars appearance.

Less conspiscious. On the yellow patch a brighter dot on the limb was
visible in green yellow red colors, that may invove the vision of a high
altitude cloud by light glaring. With the 305mm this was not seen but the
brighter dot yes.
I cannot have a look again this night being outside, but to-morrow this
shall be.
Returning back on the event, decalionis was seen by transparency.
For your perusal.

A couple of RGBs taken in good seeing conditions with lots of detail visible in the video during capture, but bouncing around occasionally.
Nice blue clouds over the Tharsis region.

a little better for seeing.

Catching up on my processing now that the clouds and rain have put an end to
our epic stretch of excellent imaging conditions. Here are some images from
March 23 showing Olympus Mons near the CM and a right in the now tiny NPC.
I plan to post some IR and spectral channels as I can catch up on them.

Catching up on some processing while I await for better weather. Here's an
image from March 23 under very good conditions showing Olympus Mons near the
CM with lots of cloud activity across the globe.

I was able to capture some very clear images of the Chryse hemisphere.
The B filter image show extensive delicate clouds across the western half of the disk from Tharsis (where Ascraeus Mons appears as a very dark spot on the limb.) Interesting delicate fingers of clouds extending over Acidalium. Chasma Borealis is very distinct cutting into in the NPC. Bright haze over Argyre in the far south.
