At the very end of an excellent Mars session (to follow in the near future) i took a quick run on Saturn. The altitude was only 29 degrees though seeing looked pretty good. Sadly transparency was dreadful and i had to operate at maximum gain (hence the slightly noisy result.) Colour imaging wasnt possible due to the poor transparency caused by high clouds low in the sky.
None the less i was pleasantly surprised by the result for it being so low in the sky. Hopefully some clearer conditions will occur with some good seeing in the months ahead.
