Attached is a drawing I made of Saturn made on the night of the 11-12th May. Conditions were variable but there were some good moments. Most pertinent points were:
(i) Globe: Far south bluish in colour,SEB visible along with the duisky pole. The ShRG clearly defined. EZ bright but not dazzlingly so. NEB of interest. The whole region seems very broad and the two components separated by a dark NEBz. NTB not uniform,it seems as though there are darker sections within which may extrude into the greenish NTZ. NPR dusky.
(ii) Rings: A-Ring brownish grey,Cassini Division seen although it could not be traced all the way around the ansae. Bright B1-Ring white in colour and fades into the greyish B2-Ring. C-Ring dark and only really promenent at ansae edges. Intensity set taken in IL.
(iii) 0105UT (W#25A). View steadier in this filter and the southern hemisphere seems to be darker in this light. The darker sections observed in the belts are still present in the W#25a.
(iv) 0111UT (W#80A) Details harder to make out now due to the altitude.
(v). 0130UT Made a drawing in W#25A but the seeing is no so poor that it is bound to be hopelessly unreliable,so I have not included it here. By
0132UT seeing was off the scale (bottom end!),no point in continuing.

I herewith send you my recent Saturn image. I had to take care of myself
last weeks, because I have a torn ankle band in my right foot. Interesting
is that after one and a half year the remainders of the Dragon storm are
still present.

冬のような寒さが続きなかなか晴れませんでした。
やっと晴れたのですが、シーイングも冬のような酷いものでした。
