Stanislas Maksymowicz (200m newtonian)

 pdf
Images were good at the eyepiece.
In spite of this, the 200mm newtonian was not at his best for capturing on
an almost featureless Uranus disk.
Anyway the report attached with the present mail.
I enclose also for your attention a tablesheet expressing some abilities
regarding the scopes in use until the 305mm cassegrain with comparative
results from sketches.
Assessments are done for higher apertures and also for visual and NIR
observations fields.
It appears that the 250-300mm newtonian of low obstruction ratio and high
acuracy can equal to out perform easily a C14 and Mewlons. This appears
also conspiscious at the eyepiece.
For your perusal and use at the Association of observers if you think
appearing interresting.

Jean Jacques Poupeau (356mm SC)
I operated with my camera Basler in the focus Cassegrain of 10 meters with binning 2x2.
I determined the position of the celestial equator by letting the planet drift during a few seconds on the image (movement AD of
the telescope in the stop).
No obvious structures on layers V and B.
Suspicion of equatorial darkening on the layer R,but the darkening of the equator in close IR with the filter IR 685 nm is obvious
on 2 images taken with this filter.
The flattening of the poles is very perceptible.

Marc Delcroix (1000mm)
Under very good conditions, Uranus in IR with the 1 meter telescope, showing very clearly two bright bands and a bright limb:
