Stanislas Maksymowicz (127mm refracter 203mm cassegrain)
Features on the Venus dark side appears when images were steady.
The O3 filter gave the most confidential results but the R tricolor gave
the view reported at the first look.
A thin light arc was present all around the limb with the R filter and
without filter. This represents width arc of less than the Dawes limit
divided by 4,the crescent width representing the Dawes limit/4 as a 100mm
refractor was used at 60x and 100x for verification. The 2 darker patches
near the crescent side to side the equator seems to be 2 famous features on
venus ground.
This was also before the conjunction some days before.
The Venus transit here was under a rainy day for the morning apparition in
France.
