Seeing was good this evening. But only had a few moments of it before conditions deteriorated.

The GRS is rising on these images. The area following Oval BA looks complex. Oval BA is at the edge of the disk setting.

The NEB is active with outbreaks and rifts. The NTB has a weaker color now. The NTBn continues to be active.

The image of the 14th is a new attempt to image Jupiter in daylight. Unfortunately, the sky was covered with a thin layer of cirrus!

This is my last Jupiter image of the season, for a total of 9 images in 8 sessions of observation.
The quality of image is low, because the observation is made at night at the beginning when the seeing is not very appropriate.
This time a good balance of color is obtained, but the atmospheric features cannot be observed clearly.
I do not identify the spot shining near to the CM on the STB.
[Charles Triana : Bogota - Colombia]

Damian Peach (356mm Celestron SCT)

Some Jupiter images from April 14th. Fair seeing. Io and shadow in transit.
