Jupiter at 03:23 UT Meade LXD 75 8" 222x+zoom 10x single shot. Here is my first image of Jupiter in 2013. The planet was only 14° elongation W,at very low altitude. It seems visible NEB and SEB. There was also Ganymed's shadow,but it's not visible anyway(Jupiter was only 32.2" diameter and 10° altitude on horizon,so the shadow was 1.18"!) It's my first time I shoot Jupiter so near the Sun,with daylight. Waiting for new images by astroimagers...[Livio Finocchi: Tagliacozzo - L'Aquila - ITALY]
