After 2 nights that I wake up and I found clouds in the point of the sky where
was Jupiter and a new day was dawning without rolling by,finally a clear today
help me to have this image, better than that I send on 9 july, even if
conditions were similar, the only difference was better elongation. Here are
visible the principal belts of the planets with true colours and two-tone on
the NEB(North is up). Other images I looked on ALPO Jupiter section in the past
days confirm this.
Seeing was good for altitude (10) and trasparency too, even if sky was very
red on the horizon.
Jupiter was 32.5"diameter and -1.8 mag. and today is the closest approach with
Mars (47').
The others 2 little images show the movement of satellites in 14min.,made at
03:00 and 03:14 UT,still at 222x but 1x zoom. Single shots.
