Attached is my image of Jupiter taken this morning,September 7,2013.
Seeing was fair to good, estimated 3-4/10.
Transparency good at beginning of session,
deteriorating near the end with development of some haze and thin overcast.
The image was prepared using WinJUPOS from a series of images from 60 second videos taken between 9:20 and 9:51 UT.
These videos were taken using Firecapture and the ASI120MC camera coupled to the CPC-1100 EdgeHD with a 2x shorty Barlow giving f/23.
Oval BA is seen at the edge of the preceding limb.
The trail of dark material in the STB behind it appears to have been removed from the SSTB by the leading edge of the oval
and rotated counterclockwise and then deposited in the STB.

Herefs my first observation of the new Jupiter apparition.
The seeing was fair to good for this RGB image, but extremely heavy dew hampered the effort.
It was a rare occurrence that the two dew heaters I run couldnft keep up.

Oval BA is just rotating off the disk.

Condition wasn't great this morning. Seeing was excellent but transparency was poor.
Plus I had to deal with dew. However,I was able to scrape a decent RGB image.

The GRS can be seen rising on the left. Note the bright patch on the SEB preceding the GRS.
Is this a vortex? IT seems to be associated to the dark wake on the SEBn.

The NEB looks quiet and narrow.
