Please find attached a drawing of Jupiter made this morning. Initially conditions looked good; a lovely clear sky.
However the transparency was also very good so I suspected the seeing conditions might not be too good for planetary work.
Alas I was right. Although I started at 0108UT,
I had to wait to 0230UT or so before conditions were good enough to make a drawing.
Although much of the fine details on the Jovian disk eluded me,there were still a few points of interest:

-Both SSTB and STB seemed to be reasonably well defined at these longitudes.
-I Suspected a STropB but never observed it with any real certainty.
-The GRS was well on view,it's colour even in these conditions was rather noticeable.
-The SEB contained many lovely structures (although these Earth's atmosphere seemed determined to obscure them)
A brownish grey SEB(s) could be seen along with a darker SEBz and a greyish SEB(n).
-There was a brighter region just proc. the GRS in the SEBz.
-EZ contained a few festoons but they were quite hard to see visually tonight,as a result placing them accurately was difficult.
-NEB continued some noticeable dark and light structures.
-Hard to make out the NTB; it seemed that there were some darker sections which marked its northern boundary.
Indeed it was very hard to tell where the NTB ended and the NTZ began,
the regions did not seem particular well differentiated at these longitudes.

The shadow of Io can be seen on the disk. I noticed the shadow at 0118UT. By 0248UT,
Jupiter was near the meridian, however the seeing became so poor at this point that there seemed little point in continuing.

高度が低い分、シーイングは今ひとつでした。
RSの赤が目立ちます。RS後方のSEBの白斑群は相変わらず活発です。
