Seeing was still bad lately. I was able to scrape some acceptable images.
Oval BA is now approaching the GRS!! Conjunction should happen in the coming months.
Note the chaotic wake of the GRS. The "Mickey" SSTB ovals are still prominent.
The NEB is dark and narrow with a lot of complex rifts. The NTB looks quiet in this region.

Our heatwave continues here in the OZ outback but this run of reasonable seeing continues.
At last we have relief from the jetstream, this data makes it 4 consecutive nights
I have got useful data for Jove and I am also doing Mars & Saturn.
Have just come back up to the house from my observatory after collimating my scope and
firing up the Peltier cooler,it is still 34 C outside.
It seems the seeing should hang in right through next weekend.
This data from last night Jan 29th starts with the GRS close to the CM.
Again there are prominent festoons impinging into the EZ from the NEB.
There are some nicely resolved spots in the STrZ and Christophe Pelier's
Mickey Mouse Head alignment of light ovals toward the F limb in the STeB best seen in the final IR.
