Imaged Mars this morning in ordinary seeing. Reduced the histo from Jan 31st in an attempt to avoid saturation of the NPC.
Again the IR very nicely reveals the ring of sand dunes encircling the NPC and the R channel also reveals a hint of this feature. The B channel suffered somewhat due to the poorish seeing but I note the large cloud or haze I reported yesterday toward the F limb is more prominent. Not sure just how much the poorer B channels is contributing to that effect.
