Attached is a Mars observation I made on 21st February. Usually the clouds come in just after midnight (if they ever clear away at all) and as I result I have only three drawings of Mars for the current apparition. The seeing varied a lot,but it was clear that the NPC is now much smaller and nowhere near as conspicuous. The Mare Sirenum can be seen in the far south. I'm reasonably sure that there was an equatorial cloud band present. I had hoped to use a W#80A filter which nicely enhances the white clouds, but alas earth based clouds came up and I was forced to stop.
