I made my first Mars-sketch for the current opposition. The dark ring around the NPC was quite obvious. At both edges of the planet there where some clouds. When I switched to the blue filter,I could see them easily. In moments of good seeing the dark areas showed some structures, but I wasn´t able to draw them. The northern part of Mare Acidalium was a little bit darker, but I´m unsure about the brighter gap.

I have very good image only at the red filter, but as we can see some interest areas and points :
- Deutoronilus Mensae
- Protonilus Mensae
- and maybe is visible a crater Lyot between Cecropia area and the Deutoronilus Mensae!!!
- Between a Cydonia Mensae and Thymiamata I see two dark spots but I can not recognize this, can you help me ?

This image had some of my best seeing. Again,Solis Lacus is on the
sunset limb and
Olympus Mons is well presented near the meridian.

Solis Lacus and Olympus Mons is well placed is this image at CM: 114.4.
