We had another night of favorable conditions, last night. Despite
thickening waves of clouds moving through, the seeing was a bit better than
on previous nights for these images of Mars. These images show the
Moab/Eden region with Syrtis Major rotating across the evening limb and
haze-filled Chryse rotating into view. On the lower right, fog covers the
Hellas basin and an evening (blue?) cloud covers Syrtis Major (far right).

Under very good seeing. Clouds in Hellas very prominent! Various other albedo features in Syrtis Major visible (e.g. crater Huygens).

Here are some images from April 22nd. They nicely show Syrtis Major passing over the limb with blue cloud again prominent.
