Imaged Mars Sept 26th. Had emergency surgery Sept 19th on a hernia, not moving very well but was able to "carefully" get up the stairs in my observatory last night. With an apparent dia now of only 6.2" there is still reasonably resolved detail. Sinus Meridiani is prominent as is Oxia Palus and Niliacus Lacus. Not long now to the close approach of C2013A Siding Spring.
