Last night was my first chance to see the newly discovered bright spot on Neptune. The seeing was not very good but I have at least one image that shows it...
So, after some more work today on quality-sorting algorithms for tiny planets I have a crude animation showing the rotation of the spot on Neptune. The seeing was very bad at the end of the session, as you can clearly see from the state of poor Triton in the second frame! However it is just good enough to see that the spot is moving as expected.
