フィルターホイールを冷却CCDに付けてしまったので、
久しぶりのワンショットカラー撮影になった。
シーイングは比較的良かったが高度が低いためモニター上の画像は
ユラユラと揺れており画像処理後の結果が心配だった。

A rather interesting, large bright feature in the EZ is resolved in my data from last night,Aug 21st. There is structure associated with it,possibly multiple features close together. It is resolved in 742nm IR,R & RGB data sets. I measure the position of this feature to be centred on approx L1 112.6,L2 120.0,L3 86.5,Lat + 8.0. This bright feature even shows up in the polar projections of the R & RGB data. Previously I have imaged the occasional bright spot in the EZ but none have been bright enough to see in polar projections. This new feature is certainly more than just a spot. I have also contacted the Cassini Imaging team,Kunio Sayanagi,Leigh Fletcher and just in case there are SED's,Georg Fischer.
