On 01 August 2015 my friend and compatriot Willem Kivits have captured Neptune independently 2 hours after each other. The reason was the bright spot/storm that has been discovered by Ricardo Hueso on13 July 2015. Although the seeing was not really good using hand selection of the best frames we were able to pinpoint the spot as is illustrated by the attached images. To demonstrate the rotation of the spot I have combined our results in a short gif animation.
