Imaged Saturn July 27th in reasonable seeing targeting the +63 disturbance. When putting together my animation of 685nm IR data covering 80 minutes of Saturn rotation, along with the +63 spot I notice an elongated dark feature in the EZ.. I measure the EZ feature to be Lat +0.7 L1 3.5 L2 184.3 L3 100.6.
Looking at each 685nm IR data set in isolation this dark feature is easy to miss but is easily seen in the animation so I think it is real and not an artifact.
I note that the +63 dark spot continues to drift at spot on -11.4 L3 deg/day.

Here are the images from 27th July taken in relatively poor seeing...also,
well after culmination/transit which we have found to be not terribly
conducive for good image outcomes this apparition. (for some unknown
reason...)

The rgb (colour) image was taken with the ASI224MC colour camera & any of
the details that are evident on the disk are testament to this camera's
sensitivity,despite unsatisfactory seeing...

The iR742nm image - & in particular the NPP of this image (these taken with
the mono ASI174MM camera) did show the +63N rift/feature & the associated
elongated dark spot very well however.....a quick (& rough) measurement in
WinJupos reveals this dark Northern spot to subtend over 20° in L3..! This
is very large in our opinions.
