Attached is my first observation of Uranus in the new apparition. We had some very good seeing here last night (around AII for much of the time) and the skies were very transparent. As a result I was able to observe Uranus at x312. I was surprised that image definition was this good, given the altitude of the planet. The disk showed some vague darker sections- it certainly wasn't uniform and it seemed as though there were some vague belt like structures, the colour was quite striking however.- more so than when I last observed the planet.
The planet was fairly close to the double star Zeta Piscium, and at x25 both Zeta Pisc and Uranus were in the same field and so I decided to make a drawing of that as well.
