My report of Venus sent to you performed last 25th with the 150mm
Cassegrain.
Cusp caps against color remain on a variablity (WF conditions equals to
results with W11 filter). Brightness levels are shown on the respective
sketch.
There was a brightness patch near the equator and Terminator. Location
against color channel seems to be a report location mistake,in fact, the
feature was carefully reported as it was possible.
Brightness on the limb South hemisphere also was noted (blue channel and
IL,not consistent enough in red color.
Banding pattern indeed present and it seemed the Y or psi feature well
present (anyway Under a possible mistake and the observational conditions,
don't know the usual CM current locations of these features).
Ashen light was not captured Under the observational onditions.

Attached is an image from yesterday afternoon. I started earlier so Venus was higer in altitude. I have trees in the West that shield my observatory from the sun. Registax 5 and Photoshop CS2 were used for processing.

Please find attached a recent observation of Venus made on the 25th May. Although seeing was poor (around AIV) I was able to determine that dichotomy had not yet occurred: I estimate a phase of 51% in integrated light.
Illuminated Disk: A number of dusky streaks present on the disk.
Unilluminated Disk: Not seen
Bright Limb Band: Visible and complete- very bright near the centre of the disk.
Terminator: May have been slightly irregular towards the south- at times I had the impression that the bright southern cap may have extended slightly beyond the terminator, but I am not certain of this.
Cusp Caps: Both caps present, the southern cap may have been slightly larger and brighter. Both cusp collars seemed to be present. -----
