Greetings all,Please find attached an observation of Venus from 4th June. The observation was made in the afternoon as I find the daytime sky significantly reduces the glare. Frequent passing clouds were a nuisance. Visually the planet now seems to be at about 48% illumination. Seeing was only average at best,so I was only able to use x111. Other points of interest:
Illuminated Disk: A number of faint dusky streaks present on the disk. Some dark terminator shading also present.
Unilluminated Disk: Not seen.
Bright Limb Band: Visible and complete.
Terminator: Largely regular,except towards the poles. The southern cusp seemed to extend a little beyond the terminator,
Cusp Regions: Southern cusp cap seemed to be large and bright,the northern cusp cap in contrast was much smaller and not as bright. At times I had the impression that both cusps were slightly blunted,but this could easily be due to the poor seeing conditions.

Here is the Venus report performed with the 70ED refractor.
Hot weather and honnest report in spite of the aperture.
Cusp caps well present and ashen light merging from the Terminator as main events.
