Stanislas Maksymowicz (100mm refracter)
Here is the report of the 3rd july regarding Venus performed with the 10ED
and refractor.
The polaroid filter was used with the 100x magnification,no color filter
and W11.
Regarding AL,the B filter (RG435) exhibited the same intensity than the R
filter (W29).
WF results (no filter) were similar to the W11 results, similar pattern
collected.
The polaroid filter helped to exhibit dark patches on the faint light on
the dark side.
the lighted side exhibite the same pattern but with stronger contrasts.
At the issue the weather became stormy, the sky transparency pooer.
When using the polaroid filter on the sun, nake eye, turning it,this
exhibited a strong light level variation in correspondance to the sky
darkening.
Applying this at the eyepice, turning it in the focuser, the maximm effect
was researched and the report was given before. Sunlight is polarised,
reflected light on venus atmosphere too.
These are qualitative tests only,it should be entered in quantitative
results about the observations.

Leo Aerts (250mm Cassegrain)
I couldn't do better than the herewith included result of June 3rd 2015,
made in the focal plane of my 25 cm f/30 Cassegrain telescope. I used an UV
Schuler filter and a DMK31AU03.
