Paul G. Abel(203mm reflector)
Please find attached an observation of Venus I made earlier this afternoon. Doesn't show very much I'm afraid, the bright limb band is all there is to see,and I couldn't detect any markings on the disk. The terminator was geometrically regular and there appears to be no cusp extensions. Frequent passing cloud was a nuisance but seeing was around AIII-IV. I tried observing with a polarising filter (96-0.9) but could detect no sign of the dark side of the planet.

Stanislas Maksymowicz (150mm refracter)
I used the 150mm refractor on the 1st and draw the planet with color pencils.
The respective light levels between area are not true indeed (dark side-AL,
Crescent, sky background) but the overall viewing impression is there.
I found the dark side AL color not too bad.
