Stanislas Maksymowicz (150mm refracter)
a typical that resume what was collected with 70 until 150mm (apart the
darkenings on the dark side not shown).
I center the concern about cusp extension and morphology. If the light
identations from the thin light are not seen,I doubt of their existence
except the case very near the conjunction date when an "annular" appearance
may occur.

Peter Edwards(C14 355mm SC)
closer to conjunction,VENUS now only 2.5% illuminated.

Damian Peach (356mm Celestron SCT)
With the planet nearing inferior conjunction (which is around a week from now ) all that can be seen is the very slender narrow crescent.
I used an IR900nm filter for the image which greatly helped with contrast.
The scope aperture was also masked down to prevent stray light entering.
I also installed an active cooling system on the scope today which seem to help as there were periods of quite good seeing at times.
C14HD with ASI224MC. IR900 filter.
