今夜は曇りと諦めていたら短時間でしたが晴れ間が通過し、
1セット撮影できました。
でもシーイングの悪さには変わりなしでした。
左下の黒点はカリストの影です。

Seeing was better today.

Note the outbreak on the NEB setting on the right. A lot of rift on the NEB in this region.
The NTB is very active in this region. THe GRS is rising on the left on the second image. [Christopher Go : Cebu Philippines]

Anthony Wesley (406mm Newton)
Hi all, here's a colour image of Jupiter from last night,April 20.
The faint "STB Ghost" feature can be seen at lower right embedded in the white STZ.

The shadow of Callisto can be seen at upper right as it leaves the disk.
We're looking at this from the side and see it quite distorted.

In the STB I was able to observe the four W-SPOT A0-A3. A1 was near the ZM and showed a fairly sharp and slightly darkened edge.
The other W-SPOT were less easy to see. I could also see the STB-Ghost,but I positioned it completely wrong - it should´ve been below A1. The NEB showed a nice W-RIFT and two bluish D-PROJ. [Michael Kassl : Carinthia,Austria]
