Hi all,here's an image of Jupiter from tonight showing the GRS and also
the new dark spot in the NEB above and left. Through this filter (685nm
longpass) the spot appears dark but I suspect it's really a blue colour
indicating a deep hole in the clouds. Sadly the seeing was not good
enough for a colour image to check this,but I have another opportunity
tomorrow at a time where colour images should be possible.

Jupiter at a "Mercurian" elevation (13°) in infrared. GRS is setting, 
and if the dark mark Bird identified 2 days before is roughly stable in L1, 
then the dark mark has elongated horizontally and lays on the same longitude as GRS.
