Mare Boreum

The image of Mr. Milika-Nicholas of the day before was observation
of the early morning. An image of Mr. Clyde Foster is an image before
the reverse sunset. This neighborhood is the area that is easy to be
covered by white cloud, but white cloud appears with both
conspicuously. A cloud crossing Syrtis Major this time to the north
and south is interesting among other things. In Hellas, the east side
is covered by a cloud, but the west sees the skin.
Brightness and the hue of the cloud opening around Mars are very good,
and the image of Mr. Mishina is reproduced, and vanity by the naked
eye is near. A white band thought to be the snow cloud is recorded to
an image of Mr. Anthony Wesley today to the south of Hellas. As for
the image of Mr. Efrain Morales Rivera, the change of the cloud of the
neighborhood of Mare Boreum is interesting.

under average seeing conditions. Two features I note:
a) A hook shaped cloud over Syrtis Major. Would this be cloud on the flanks of Nili Patera?
b) The cloud in the Iaxartes region, near the NPC,which was visible in my image of 2 May,has developed into a very bright feature with a northerly extension, and what appears to have a small spot towards its centre(more easily seen in the red image).
Apologies for the over exposed red image.

reasonable seeing. Syrtis Major can be seen rising at left with some cloud cover extending across the disk and some isolated clouds in the north. The north pole is getting harder to see at the top of this image while Elysium is the very bright feature at centre. A lot of cloud can be seen to the south (bottom).

Please find attached my second observation of Mars in the current apparition. Alas due to the planet's low altitude seeing was rather poor- around AIV for much of the time. However the planet has a large diameter of about 17",and compared to the last few apparitions the apparent size is quite striking!
Even in the poor conditions a number of features were evident on the disk:
- Sorts Major was a dark, prominent object, although the Hellas basin was difficult to see with any confidence.
- Sinus Sabeus also present although I couldn't make out the Sinus Meridian.
- Boreosyrtis present in the north
- There seemed to be bright clouds along the following, northern and preceding limb, these were brightest around the north polar region, however the seeing conditions made it hard to determine where the clouds were located and brightest with any real accuracy.
