Attached find some recent Neptune images with probably a bright feature at
latitude -30o,longitude 10o. The colouring of one image was artificial and
performed to improve the visibility of the feature. With these tiny objects
artefacts are easily obtained by the noise,so,confirmation is essential.

The ephemeris drawn up from the Hubble,
PlanetCam & our own images from last month predicted a transit of
the bright central spot calculated at -28ー Lat at UT 19:58:51 on 14th July 2016...
We captured 5 separate avi's but none revealed this central spot...
we understand another imager (John Sussenbach) did capture this feature earlier that night
when it transited the CM for the first of 2 times on the 14th...
but as explained we really could not discern it in any of our images.
However, we certainly picked up another bright region advancing around the F limb &
displayed in all of the captures including possibly some darker markings...
here are 3 of those captures ( the clearest) & also a reversing animated gif of these 3 captures.
There seems little doubt that they are anything but real due to the consistency
but that said they have not been recorded previously...our very rough measuring in WinJUPOS
places the "spot" as centralised around +5ー Lat & Long 116ー - these are VERY rough measurements! ;)
