Particularly good conditions and at least one light area suggested:
the suspected elongated stretch possibly a lighter STZ if rea!
As I mentioned before with my Aug. 22 postc.again I get that faint tan hue to Triton.
The satellite was near sparkling in the very good transparency but still perplexed to get colour in a mag.
13.5 object. All the way back to the late 1960s (10 inch Newtonian then) I wondered if it were nearer 12.8 to 13.2.
Even so a rather weak hue to catch in that faintness albeit with the bigger scope now,
(and the planet ever higher than I have seen it) ¬ I plumb for the complimentary/inverse effect with blue
