A bright spot (BWC) can be seen advancing around the F limb at high Northern latitudes in both images...the animation clearly displaying its movement with Neptune's rotation. ;)
Without measuring, this "might" well be the same BWC as recorded in several earlier images this apparition...or if not, it suggests that these particular latitudes are generating said storm activity on a regular basis...
With Neptune well past transit/culmination by the time it is semi-dark, this planet is becoming increasingly difficult to image: nonetheless, we will continue to do so for as long as possible! :)
