In the evening hours of Nov. 28th seeing improved and I got some got image run on Uranus. First with my standard setting (C14, 2xBarlow, ADC) which gave the result on the left. With longer focal length 6300 frames were aquired, 70% could be used for stacking. This time there seems to be a brighter gap between the two equatorial bandings, at least allusively. In a second run I tried ti image Uranus in C14 normal focus which gave me the chance for shorter exposure and more frames (9000), 70% were stacked. The comparison shows quite clearly, that C14 focal length only doesn't resolve enough and offers no alternative to get better images.
