Here is my first color image of Venus for the new (2016 - 2017) season, it was captured on August 31 at 22:54 UT,90 minutes before sunset using my Meade 14" LX200 GPS and a ZWO ASI120. I resized the planet 150%. Comments: Seeing conditions were not good enough to observe any low or mid-latitude cloud features, also no polar cloud deck could be viewed today.[Dan Petersen:Racine Wisconsin USA]
