Apologies if you don't want to receive Venus images, I'm using my jupiter list for this email but I'll create a dedicated Venus list shortly. Please let me know if you don't want to be on it or if there are people missing who should be on the list. Here's an image of Venus from yesterday afternoon - 12th September - through a 1 micron (1000nm) filter showing some cloud structure. Our normal planetary cameras have just a small amount of response at that wavelength, but luckily Venus is incredibly bright.
