Seeing was good this morning.

This is the region following the GRS.  Note the bright outbreaks on the left.  These outbreaks is bright in CH4.  
The NEB is also very active in this region with major outbreaks.

Please find attached my first observation of the current Jupiter apparition.  Although the planet is notably lower than it appeared last year,by 2330UT it had reached a reasonable altitude.  
Seeing was never great,and I had only a short time before the next weather front came in.  Main points of interest include:

- STB seemed to contain some interesting features- some dark irregular sections present.
- STropZ bright- seems to contain some faint structures close to the STB.
- GRS well seen,and a notable dark orange colour.
- SEB quite active- in particular a number of bright fairly well defined structures in the regions following the great red spot.
- EZ bright and a little more active compared to my last view- a number of bluish festoons present.
- NEB also quite active- a large bright rift on the preceding side present,
and a number of other interesting structures visible along the length of the belt.
- NTZ contains a darker yellowish colour.
- NTB seems to be a faint,featureless orange band.
- NNTB only present for about half the disk starting on the preceding side,greyish in colour.

Clouds came up at 2351UT putting an end to further observations.

どんよりした、透明度のよくない空でしたが、少しましな気流で観測できました。
やっと大赤斑後方かく乱領域を何となく見ることができました。赤斑湾は暗く、
GRSとの境界は今一つよくわかりません。この付近のEZには目立つフェストーン
はなく、見極めが難しかった。
