今日もSeeingが非常に悪く、観測にならない。極冠の形も分からない。
昨日はちらちらと見えていたが、今日は全く話にならない。

Initially seeing was not too bad and I was able to use a power of x312 to examine the small Martian disk.
Mars is now rapidly moving away from us,and the disk size is currently about 5.7" so naturally there was not going to be much in the way of fine detail on display. Points of interest include:
- A small bright south polar cap.
- The Solis Lacus region was well on display (indeed this view is similar to my last one I made back in 2016).
- The preceding limb was rather bright,no doubt due to white cloud activity.
- An interesting effect was present in the north- it seemed that the colour was a much stronger orange than in the south- I have tried to render this in the drawing albeit only semi successfully!
By 1726UT the seeing became hopeless and I abandoned any further planetary work. Shortly after thick mist and then later, cloud came up preventing any variable star work.
