On 23rd August we commenced a concerted effort to determine if the large EQ spot we first recorded on 10th June 2017 was still present: this unusual feature - with winds around 1000km/hr long-lived spot are unusual at these latitudes.
After our initial captures it was picked up by a team at the Keck observatory twice between our first & last recordings & also by the PlanetCam team at Calar Alto.
Our images here reveal a bright spot moving with the rotation of Neptune. (possibly a "twin complex" with only the first frame revealing both as it then disappears around the P Limb)
Here is the animation as well as single images... :)
