Here are more images of Neptune, from 14th October 2017. These display another near-equatorial bright spot...these have become quite frequent this current apparition & are the focus of ongoing studies by both Keck & PVOL... The seeing conditions were very poor this night but we managed a simple 2-frame animated sequence as well as one reasonably clear image for measurement purposes. :)
