The last imaging session for 2017 of Neptune for us - too low & too early to image now! We anticipated perhaps capturing more Eq. storm activity according to the latst ephemeris & the seeing was quite good, expecially considering the elevation: even Triton was visible in the live feed... but apart from a spot at about -30S (fairly confident of this because of the movement between the 2 frames in the animation) nothing but obscure shading etc was evinced. Here is the better of the 2 images as well as the 2 frame animation & the spot measurement image.
