This is a pastel (white on black) made of Venus with my refractor 152/1200. To improve the contrast I used one set of two filters: orange plus green,#12 and #58 together. The used magnification was 300x. I wonder if the faint AL detected was not due to the bad seeing,this was maybe an illusion comming from a light diffusion in the earth atmosphere ?

With a seeing "horribilis" I got to photograph the night face of the planet. Light details of albedo can be to the regions of Phoebe and Beta Regio
