Attached are three drawings I made of Venus this morning in rather poor seeing. Points of note were:
Illuminated disk: Phase still small- now a waxing crescent. Dark terminator shading present. It also seemed that there were brighter spots present in the south, but alas seeing was too poor to allow me to confirm them definitely (indeed they may have been seeing artefacts).
Unilluminated Disk: Not Visible. Bright Limb Band: Visible and Complete. Terminator: Geometrically regular. Cusp Caps: Southern cusp slightly brighter?
Cusp Collars: initially I was unable to see them, however when I moved to the W#15 filter I was able to make out them out, although the southern cusp collar was more prominent. The view was confirmed in the W#47 filter.
At 1036UT, I returned to IL and I was still able to make out the southern cusp collar.

Here is the venus report of 18th April done with the VMC200.
AL is fading, dark side is not fully involved by AL.
A bright area on equator on Crescent side was seen distinctly.
