Please find attached an observation of Venus which I made this morning. Seeing was rather poor, but there were a number of interesting features present:
-Illuminated Disk: Phase now much larger, dusky shading present on the disk. There seemed to be a darker streak present to the south.
-Unilluminated Disk: Not visible.
-Bright Limb Band: Visible and complete
-Terminator: Geometrically regular.
-Cusp Caps: Both seemed to be about the same brightness, perhaps the southern cusp cap was larger, but difficult to be sure in these conditions.
-Cusp Collars: The souther collar still seems to be the most prominent. The northern collar was easier in the W#15 and W#47 filters.
