Seeing was rather poor,but there were a number of interesting features on the disk which I think have some basis in reality:
Illuminated Disk: In IL there seemed to be two shaded regions each of which contained a streak heading out into the disk.
The W#15 provided much the best view,and in this light there seemed to be two distinct darker streaks and a darker spot.
- Bright Limb Band: Visible and complete
- Terminator: Geometrically regular.
- Cusp Caps: Both seemed to be about equal in size and brightness.
- Cusp Collars: Both present and at times seemed to be very easy to see- both seemed to be about equal intensity.
