Alas seeing conditions were rather poor and the sky was rather hazy. Some points of note - Illuminated Disk: Some interesting shading present on the disk- there seemed to be a dark streak to the south extending out onto the disk (or it could have been two separate streaks- hard to be sure in these conditions). - Bright Limb Band: Visible and Complete - Terminator: Geometrically regular - Cusp Caps: Both present and about equal. - Cusp Collars: Both present and about equal. I had hoped to examine Venus with W#15 and W#47 filters, unfortunately the cloud cover became to thick and I stopped observing the planet at 1057UT.[Paul G. Abel:Leicester:United Kingdom]
