Although there was a little patchy cloud,the sky was fairly transparent and I was able to see the planet quite clearly with the naked eye.
Seeing was rather poor but there were some interesting features on the disk:
Illuminated Disk: The theoretical phase was 74% but in IL it appeared much less at only 66%.
There was a faint dusky marking to the south,and a darker marker to the north,close to the equator.
Although this feature was present in the W#15,it was a little more subtle.
Bright Limb Band: Visible and complete.
Terminator: Geometrically regular.
Cusp Caps: Both present,perhaps the southern cusp was marginally brighter.
Cusp Collars: Both present- about equal.

Venus yesterday morning,showing westward drift of cloud features.742nm IR pass filter used.
(Using (very) basic measurements and maths,I calculated the speed of these winds at the equator as about 120m/s... a bit slow perhaps?)
Interesting swirling effect noticed in places.(C14,ZWO ASI224,742nm filter)
