Hi all,here's an image of Jupiter from this morning.
Once again clouds were a problem but not as bad as previous days.
This image was taken at 5.26am,only a couple of minutes before sunrise in the best of the seeing.
The compact red barge in the SEB can be seen rising at lower left.

My first Jupiter data fro 2018 captured in fair seeing for the low alt.
Tried 742nm & 685nm IR. Next time I think I will try 807nm IR.
There is some detail to be seen. Oval BA is relatively well resolved.
We are in the middle of a heatwave with the next 5 days all over 40C.
