The sky was overcast today. I almost gave up on imaging but at around 10pm,
Jupiter was able to pierce through the clouds. Transparency was very poor.
Normally I would have gone to bed. But this will be my last chance to image before I leave for Europe for the Juno Conference.
So I derotated the hell out of this image. I took as much image as I could using crazy gain settings until the clouds won over!
Seeing was fair at around 6-7/10. The red Oval BA is setting on the right. The shape of the STB Ghost seem to have evolved.
There a large reddish elongated feature on it. The NEB is quiet in this region. [Christopher Go : Cebu Philippines]
